In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, October 6 & 7, 2012 – we want to celebrate and honor breast cancer survivors. So we are asking survivors to join us for a “Survivor’s Victory Lap” at this year’s Atlanta 2-Day Walk. This invitation is is open to all breast cancer survivors to join us for the last 1/2 mile of our walk into our closing ceremonies at Atlantic Station on Sunday, October 7.

Survivors can register now for $30 which will include an Atlanta 2-Day Walk Survivor T-shirt as well as participation in closing ceremonies. Survivors will meet at 10 am at Atlantic Station on Sunday, October 7, walk or ride 1/2 mile to Sunday’s B’Rest Stop #4 where they will join hundreds of Atlanta 2-Day Walkers. The survivors will lead the walkers across the 17th Street Bridge, into Atlantic Station and across the finish line! We will celebrate our survivors and 10 years of raising funds to provide critical services through our grantees, throughout Georgia.

This is an exciting addition to our 10th anniversary celebration and we hope that many breast cancer survivors who may not be able to walk 30 miles will join us for fewer steps, but the same inspiration.
